Hello can anyone answer this please. If two siblings inherit a house, and one lets the other live there, if the sibling who is living there gets divorced and the wife wants 50% of all assists what happens the house?
Is she entitled to 50% of her husbands share? what are the pitfalls if they have children as in most cases I've heard the children's caregiver is entitled to remain in the home? What happens or what options does the other sibling have?

No-one is entitled to 50% of anything under Irish divorce law. I have no idea why this idea is so entrenched.

Thank you. I guess you just hear it from tv so much you assume it's correct.. oops! Also a family member was considering divorce and her solicitor told her she was entitled to half of all assists.

I guess what I am now asking is If an home is split between two siblings does a wife have a legal right to that property if divorcing?

Get legal advice, this is far too fraught a situation to get advice on the web.
