If I had my way I'd go for a mondeo having had one previous . But too big a car for the misses. Focus obvious choice but hearing bad…

Title says it all really. We've a bun in the oven. Looking to buy a second car. Iv a commercial vehicle myself for work. Looking for a decent second car for herself that I can drive too. If I had my way I'd go for a mondeo having had one previous . But too big a car for the misses. Focus obvious choice but hearing bad reports about 1.6 diesel engine. Want at least a 08. Thoughts?
