    Hi

As the titles says. Having issues trying to find a rental company that is willing to accommodate having a licence more than a year, but less than 2.

Anyone know of a rental service about that does that? All the big ones seem to be 2 years min.

    In Dublin

    Thanks

Not sure if that's any help, but I always book my cars through rentalcars.com (which then checks different rental companies), and there you only have to give them your age. You can book the car without mentioning how long you had a license. I don't know if there are any consequences when you actually pick the car up though.

Had wondered this myself, as I've recently passed the test, n plate rules would still apply I assume?

Different times I know but I rented a car from enterprise car rental in 2007 aged 22 with a full licence for only 3 weeks no problem.

It states that all bookings are made with the Terms and Conditions of the actual rental car company, which are available on the booking page and any I've seen when using the site in the past have required a full license that's been held for a minimum of 2 years.
    Makes sense, thanks.
