    Some recreational races in the US have been doing it for years. I remember seeing it in Runners World US and looking up 'Clyesdale' to see what it meant in a running context:

    Seems a bit stupid. How would they police this and do the weight in.


    I mean you could dehydrate your self for the weight in and drink loads

    That would be a stupid thing to do. You'd deliberately put yourself at a disadvantage.

    To gain an advantage you would want to secretly carry a weight vest at the weigh-in.

    We'd need a height category as well as despite being skinnier than a skinny thing the suggested weight divisions on the FloTrack article would have me in the second heaviest category.

    Although, maybe that would be a good thing actually? :confused:
