Recently summons to the local district court for assault. First time offence. Never in trouble before. I was wondering what will happen. Victim is willing to write a letter to say he wants nothing to happen.

What level of Assault was it? Section 2 Assault or Section 3 Assault?

Section 2 Assault qualifies for the adult caution scheme if the local superintendent deems it appropriate so long as you have no previous convictions.

Regardless of the situation consult a solicitor

    Legal advice isn't permitted here.

What i said in the first paragraph isn't me offering advice, i just have personal experience of that area.
