I am in the market for a good second hand 8ft mounted Topper. What makes are best?
    I don't want an Abbey..rust and heavy
Which is better Major or Conor? I currently have a 6ft Malone..good topper but too small. I dont want to buy a mower. All suggestions welcome

I think trailed is the way to go, The side mounted can be a curse in some softer ground, though KK is probably different to MO. Brother has an 8' mounted major and it's a fine well built machine. Think it was about €3700 3 years ago.

I see your point on the trailed option but i have a couple of small paddocks and a verge on the avenue so thats why mounted

The major is well made anyway. I'm looking at getting a 6' semi myself and probably go with the malone.
