Looking at buying a 2008 kia sportage 2lt diesel with 100 klms on the clock...was just wondering what should I be looking out for re wear and tear etc and any problems that I might encounter....also what kind of milage per gallon can I expect to get and are they permanent 4 wheel drive.....
    Thanks for any advice.

Not sure on problems or mpg but some are AWD and some aren't. The seller should be able to tell you which model it is.

They're not permanent 4wd (there are also 2wd versions) it's 4wd on demand.
Mileage will depend on your driving, but I know of a 2wd Tucson (basically the same thing) which was averaging 40mpg mostly open road driving. The 4wd will obviously use a bit more.

Are there any other issues that you have experience of..like clutch or gearbox problems. Starters,or fuel pump etc
Thanks in advance for any information....

We had a 2007 top spec in work a few years back, gave a lot of trouble, it was bought with similar mileage to yours. Clutch, EGR all went in the space of a few months, there was more repairs too just cant think of them right now.

Ive had 2 petrol picanto's at home though and never gave a days trouble in 10 years so Kia are generally fairly reliable IMO.
