Heavy leakage in the house

    Hi guys

I need some advice regarding a heavy leakage in the house we suspect. It's a tricky one. It all started when our old well dried up and basically stopped pressure going into the house which meant appliances like washing machine and dish washer stopped working.

We automatically presumed it was the farm as we have around 50 acres of farm land and lots of water trucks so we suspected there must be a heavy leakage in one of the water trucks but we shut off the water supply to the farm completely and that did not solve the problem so we knew it wasn't the farm.

We got a new well (300 feet deep) and new modern water pump last week but we still have the same problem. At the moment we have the cold water shut off and just using water from the 2 hot water tanks we have up in the attic on the 3rd floor.

Can anyone refer us to an experience plumber in the county wexford area (wexford town is also fine)? We're based 5 minutes from Wellington Bridge on Ballymitty, Tullycanna. The house is very big so identifying the water leak looks like a needle in a haystack. The well drilling contract did show us the pressure gauge from the water pump telling us something is using up an awful amount of water.

We suspect its a heavy leakage in the house as when we shut off the valve in the kitchen sink the pressure from the outside tap is ridiculously good and when we put it back on for water to go into the house from the new well something is killing the pressure.

Any help would be much appreciated.
