So before xmas i was up in belfast for the night, we were driving around following google maps looking to park at a shopping centre. Anyway in January i got a letter saying i had illegally turned into a bus lane and that there was a fine of £90 or £45 if payed within 28 days.

Now the letter arrived 30 days later but when i went on to pay it accepted my £45 and i thought it was case closed, However today I've just recieved another letter saying they are still waiting on the full £90 payment, what do i do?

The fine is only £45 if paid within 14 days, 15 to 28 days is £90. 29 days onwards is £135 when a Notice to Owner (NTO) is sent.

I assume this was an NTO - you paid £45 on day 30 so the fine should have been £135 meaning you correctly owe £90.

Is the stamp postmarked with a date?
