Might be a stupid question but...

I've had to lift a water damaged semi-solid floor. Could I use the non damaged part, cut up small as kindling, or is there too much glue or other stuff that would be bad for my chimney flue?

Is it going into stove? or open fire

Both - stove in my own house; open fire in my mothers. Why would there be a difference?

On a stove you are warned not to use because it can cause problems with the inside of the stove

I have 2 stoves, some bits of old flooring, old skirting etc and I fire them in :P there is not a lot of it but I burn it anyway.....

It's not good for the flue or chimney. It doesn't end up as soot. It cakes onto the side of chimney and is hard to remove. Fumes wouldn't be too good for you either
