New Heating system not working

Hi all, I recently bought a house and even though I hadn't planned on getting it replumbed originally, I made the big move and had it replumbed and had a double sided back boiler stove installed also, while the fire looks great and all it neither gives off great heat to the room and doesn't heat the radiators a whole pile, I've tried a couple of different types of logs on the stove and it's the same every time I had a massive fire on tonight as someone had said to me that I wasn't putting enough into it, the fire was that big I had to check we weren't having a chimney fire and still the rads don't heat to good, there warmish at the top but freezing at the bottom. They heat perfectly when the oil is on please help after spending about 13000 on the lot and the house is still cold with triple glazed windows and doors and the rafters of the house spray foamed.
