    Hi
I am looking at buying a van.
I am looking at 2010-2012 caddys, berlingo/partners and transit connects.

Anyone have any opinions or preferences on these?...

Transit connect is the best of them, aim for the new model.
Berlingos still have issues with the back axle.
Caddy's giving a fair bit of hassle with egr valves and injectors.

The new connects are out of my price range. I was looking at 2010-12 models where they receive a slight facelift in 2010. I know the new connects are lovely

    Know a lad who bought a 131 Caddy with 70k for 6,500 €.
A steal but he happened to be in the right place at the right time. Van was an unwanted part of a retirement deal.
Connect is a fine van only thing would throw me off is the half passenger seat.

I had a 2012 Berlingo for 3yrs.couldn't fault it after 90k kms, traded for a 15 Caddy and also fault free. Caddy is far more solid on the road and feels better built. Both very economical.

Yes it's seems a lot of caddys have entered the market since the new year at pretty good money. I was looking at around 12 reg models eg

Some of the sort I was looking at.

Aye I sat in the middle of a 3 seater berlingo and it's a joke seat. I would try to avoid a 3 seater in any of these vans

    Thank you🙂
Yes I know a guy with a 11 berlingo and he can't fault it. I drove the same van, nice van to drive etc..
That is good to know. Were both vans 1.6 turbo diesel? Thanks

I had the pleasure of driving an ex AnPost Caddy van for a day. It was only a year old, 75bhp and had zero power.
Both my vans were 1.6 but added a tuning chip to the 102bhp caddy and made an amazing difference.

I would prefer to get a 100bhp caddy over a 75bhp for sure. If I had to get a 75bhp, I am fairly confident I would get it remapped, perhaps remap the 100bhp too, depending how it feels
