Alloy Wheel Cleaner

    Was talking to my brother about wheel cleaner and he said a guy he used to work with, made his own homemade stuff, that was supposedly very good. Never told him what was in it.
    Anyone here make their own? Was thinking of giving it a go.

    I think it would be pointless to buy something to mix up and make into something you can already buy, and you wouldn't know what you were making anyway.

    My thoughts. If it was so good he'd be selling it. I'll just get something from halfords so. Any recommendations?

    Mixing chemicals can have risks. Can have even strange reactions mixing the very basic products. .though it doesn't really happen often.

    Creating cleaners by yourself, would mean you have no idea what the outcome of using it would be, on the finish of your wheels....it's not like blending waxes for example.

    Best sticking to what manufacturers have spent years in labs creating.

    Bilthamber auto wheel job done, should save time with no hospital visits due chemical highs and burnt nostril hairs :pac: :pac:

    I'd know nothing on homebrew stuff.
