Wedding Band with electric violin??

    Hello all!

I'm getting married in Muckross Park Hotel in 2018 and will have many guests coming from abroad- mainly Canada.

We are looking for band suggestions that have both strong male/female vocalist as well as an electric violin! We are going with a traditional Irish theme (not the focus but would like a few jigs) but the modern stuff is essential as well. We have a crazy bunch of guests and we want an interactive, energetic band that hopefully could chime in with an electric violin from time to time as I find it so crowd-pleasing and beat-hopping!

Suggestions would be appreciated! Budget is 2500 including a DJ/travel.

    Thanks in advance!

PS If anyone is familiar with the Abbey Suite in Muckross - what are acoustics like?

Try the Ian Hendrick Band who have an electric violin. Not sure how much trad they do, but could be worth checking out. Also Lotta Virkkunen plays electric violin and does loads of pop and trad, but I don't know if she plays with a band. Also maybe research Craddóg?
