50 shades: maybe darker, but could it be better?

    Well well - so The Sequel has made it to the light of day.
    The original book was truly dire by any literary standard.
    The first movie was a precarious also-ran.
    So will anyone put their hand in their pocket for a ticket at the box-office to see the new one?

    50 Shades Darker - released today. What does anyone think?

    Plenty of women/men will go to see Jamie take his top off so it will more than likely make another killing at the box office.

    Never read the book or watched the first one. When I see the trailer, I don't think it looks that dark though! It definitely doesn't look like it has anything on Blue Velvet.

    Film is being universally panned. 7% on Rotten Tomatoes.

    Why will people go see the see this?

    Awful books, awful films , poor sex scenes.

    This version is just about 2 people meeting and screwing and nothing more.

    To be avoided at all costs.

    I see Kim Basinger is in this sequel (80s and 90s sex symbol) 9 1/2 weeks, coming back full circle :p I am sure this film will do mega bucks at the box office

    I saw it last Friday and it was rubbish.

    Parts of the movie didnt make sense and the sex scenes were cringey.

    Christian Grey crashes the helicopter and when he comes back he just looks dirty, no broken bones no scratches.

    I didnt read the book but from what I heard it went into more detail about what happened after the crash while the movie kinda skipped it.
