    I was on YouTube today and came across a video that shows BMW surplus stock, and they just Dismantle the lot 😢😭

    This video has been doing the rounds for a while. They're not surplus stock, they are R&D and test mules. They have to be scrapped for compliance.

    We've a number of those where I work, not sure what happens to them in the end, but I do know that they can never be sold to a customer.

    Always pains me to see cars driving down the road with bits of trim hanging off and laptops screwed into the interior instead of in my driveway.

    Happens in all industries sadly. I spend my summers destroying 1000s of sunglasses that we test but therefore cannot be sold.
