Recommendations badly needed!

    Hi everyone,
    Currently a 23 year old full licence driving a 00 Honda Civic that I would like to upgrade (get rid of asap!).
    With a budget of 3000 - possibly can push it to 4000 if needed - could I get some recommendations off you guys?
    Looking for something relatively comfortable like an Audi A3 or a 1 series BMW or anything along those lines if possible.
    Would like to get out of the boy racer stage - been there done that :)

    Sorry if the description is vague :(

    You couldn't go wrong with a newer model civic.

    I'd go for a Toyota Corolla, will have similar levels of reliability to the Civic you're used to.
