Vue Smart Glasses

I don't know if this has been posted (a quick search of this sub forum did not elicit any hits) but by virtue of WebUser magazine I became aware of these today.

They're Vue smart glasses. It's a kickstarter thing and as ever on paper they seem fantastic. Answer your phone, listen to music, activity tracking.

Just wondering if people think they're worth shelling out for? My only concern is due to the fact that I have very bad eyesight. According to opticians I have to get thin frames in order to avoid jam jar sized lenses!! The Vue ones look too thick.

Just looking for feedback and making people aware of them. According to WebUser smart glasses will come to prominence in the next year or two with rumours Apple have partnered with Carl Zeiss for their entry.

Not sure bone conduction is ready for mainstream yet.

These strike me as a good idea on paper which will take longer to execute and perform way below expectations in early versions. Very much an alpha product to have as a gadget rather than something you'd rely on and use every day.

    Just my 2c worth.
