    Hi.
I found a bag of new potatoes in the press already sprouting.
Wouldit be worth it to plant them?

People do this. If you are happy with the variety ,why not?

I might not do it from year to year but as a once off it will save you a few quid (the counter argument is that they might be carrying disease)

i think it might be too early to plant them outside as you will have to protect them from frost for a good while yet.

They lose their foliage at the slightest frost.
