Can anyone give me an idea of fuel consumption per hour I could expect from a Warmflow 70/90 Kabin.
    Thanks.

Depending on how its set up, probably a little over 2 litres.

Note; A burner will not run 100% of the time that your thermostat is calling for heat. Probably near !00% for first hour (if all zones on) getting close to 25/35% after a number of hours.

Thanks Wearb, that's probably pretty close to what we've got here.
Another problem just occurred that you may be able to advise on.
We ran out of fuel yesterday and have since got more but the burner fails to light now. Have reset thermostat control and burner lock out button but still no go. Have bled fuel line also.
    Anything else I might try?
    Many thanks

What level of fuel is in the tank now? May not be high enough to force itself to pump. I presume its an RDB burner.

Just put in 165 liters as this is meant to be (very) temporary until we get our replacement heat pump installed.
This is the same amount as the previous load which fired up perfectly.
Is the fuel forced within the RDB to the ignition point or does the fuel flow into a tray, be ignited there and fanned around the boiler? What I'm getting at is could there be 'residual' fuel in this pan (if it exists) which is preventing ignition? My only experience with an oil burner was an internal free standing heater which operated like this and was occasionally prone to flooding.
    Thanks Wearb

No tray, but bottom of combustion chamber can hold oil if reset button is pressed too often without oil being ignited. Not a nice result when it eventually ignited.

There is an Allen bolt on the LH circular face of the pump. You need to have oil flowing out there before even switching on the burner. Once flowing, close Allen bolt and power up the burner.

Usual warning: if unsure get someone who knows what their doing

Wearb, you're a bloody magician! That did the trick! Going to call the Pope and recommend you for a Sainthood.
Thanks very much Wearb from the whole (soon to be warm again) family.
May even go down to the pub and raise a pint to you.
    All the best

Will have a couple myself before the night is out.
