    Hi all,

Looking for advice/recommendations on following requirements:

    - spacy hatchback, mainly for carrying bikes, sports gear
    - 1.6 to 1.8 engine size
    - low mileage: <7k km per year, so petrol preferably, mainly weekend trips down country
    - budget is 3-7k

I'm looking at Opel Vectra/Insignia, Mazda 6, Ford Mondeo

    Any advice/recommendations?

    Thanks

Can't go too far wrong with a honda civic 1.8.

If the Civic is too small (have a look at it, the cargo space in there is quite impressive), a Mazda 6 1.8 would probably be second on my list... or a Volvo V50 (the 1.8 petrol is a bit thirsty but it's quite good to drive, try to avoid the flexifuel version of it as it requires more maintenance).
