It's a pig of a job and involves unbolting the clutch pedal to gain access.

I thought as much George! The car is an auto so I have my fingers crossed I can get at it without having to move/remove the brake pedal.

Jaysus they don't make it easy. The cabin filter is simple to change in my 99 yaris.

Renault never made anything easy - GF's old 2005 Megane required the front wheel to be removed to change a headlight bulb - even then you needed small Trump like hands to complete the job.

Really? Assuming it's the same set up as a Qashqai (could be totally wrong) you just need to move a bit of the loom out of the way and unclip one cable.
I'd love to see a picture of the area if anyone happens to know of one. :D

Thought the Qashai was ****e to do at first but now it's actaully one of the handiest... after doing about 300 of them.

Hard to believe the difference a new pollen filter can make.
