What type of paint?

    Hi everyone.
I've got 5 new doors to paint, they're already primed with a cream colour. I want to paint them white. I don't want to use gloss because I don't want to hide the lovely wood grain. I was thinking a satin wood but maybe a matt would be nicer. Can matt paint be used on doors? What type of paint do you recommend?
The door frames are a white gloss. I know that the frames should match the doors but I can always re paint them down the line I suppose.
Thanks in advance for your response.

Use an eggshell or satinwood finish. Pure matt will get dirty quicker.

Water based satin finishes will fade / yellow quicker over the years but there's not a lot of other choices nowadays with the low emmissions rules.

The grain will be less noticeable, the lower the gloss level. Satinwood as a minimum IMO.
