    hi all

im planning on taking my son on a weeks camping trip this summer, some father/son bonding time, my son is going on 10 years old, i plan on maybe hitting 3 different sites, one being Hidden Valley in Wicklow, has anybody got any ideas on where else would be good to try? preferably somewhere with cabins or glamping, obviously i dont want to drive from wicklow to donegal either so preferably keeping on a track, im based in dublin, look forward to hearing your responses :)

This place is good. Co. Clare. Maybe too far away for you though.

Meath would be a bit closer and this opened up recently near us.
I know the buildings from a Tai Chi course and openday barbeques and the people involved are lovely.
It's right on the edge of the Hill of Tara.

I can recommend both Galway glamping and Podumna if you wanted to head West and work your way back to Dublin. Very different experiences but both great fun
