I believe TRW is a rated brand for German cars.

Thanks.looks like the motorbike discs are made in China.
Like Brembo outsource their stuff to China too.

But they seem to get good reviews in German bike mags.

Lucas has ceased to mean anything more than 20 years ago, just a name to be licensed out now.

A name to be remembered with a shudder for those old enough! They never did have anything to do with brakes, just very unreliable electrics, nickname 'The Prince of Darkness'

Thankfully gone from bikes long before I started with bikes, but was still very much a thing with 70s/80s British cars, and hastened the demise of a whole industry.

In Cavan there was a great fire / Judge McCarthy was sent to inquire / It would be a shame / If the nuns were to blame / So it had to be caused by a wire.
