Hi,

I started as a sole trader and was on Short Term Enterprise Allowance which after 9 months stopped. I had means test and now they gave me only €82 per week.

For the 9 months I had average income 600-800 per month. The expense are very big so I am still in minus.

For past two months over Christmas I didn't have any income. Is there some way to get more from Social? Can I ask for rent allowance?

If some months I don't have any income how can I live from €82 per week?

I am paying €650 with bills it's €800 + food €300.

Ask the dept for a new means test.
