Is there a diagnostic charge under warranty?

Have a 16 GTD. Has a knocking from the front suspension over bumps. Sometimes its bad enough. Only going over speed bumps or rough road.

I mentioned it at last service and they found nothing. I want them to have another look. Will they/should they charge for diagnostics if they "can't find anything" again?

    Thanks

Check they removed the transport blocks from the damper shafts, it's been known for them to be forgotten about during pdi.

Ya will go have a look tomorrow. Be very poor if they didn't.

Can you demonstrate the fault to them?

A quick test drive with someone to demonstrate should see you sorted.

They won't charge for a diagnostic in an instance like this even if nothing is found.

You only run the risk of a diagnostic fee during the warranty period if you are on shakey ground with the likes of a clutch issue etc.

Ok thanks. Ya they asked me to go for a drive last time and I didnt have time. You sometimes have to go around 20kph over a bump to cause it but it sounds rotten.
