I have a 35mm chrome horizontal waste outlet from a chrome bottle trap lined up with a white pvc horizontal 32mm (1 1/4") outlet sticking out of the wall.

    How do I connect them?

I tried a rubber sleeve with 2 jubilee clips from B&Q but it doesn't seem to be Ayer tight

If the chrome pipe is larger the there's nothing available that I know of thatd work. The thing you've made up there might do

Thanks for the prompt and helpful response. And I don't see anything else on eBay or Amazon either. But I'm curious how this can be as it seems the 40 and 32mm pvc is the standard and all these chrone undersink fittings are quite popular and all seem to be 35mm

It's not a problem I've encountered TBH. You could try heating the plastic and forming the larger chrome pipe into it but that can be tricky, even for experienced hands.
Maybe ring a few bathroom showroom places. They might have some kind of adapters for joining pipes

I think that you are looking for something like this.

    http://www.wickes.co.uk/Wickes-32mm-Universal-Compression-Pipe-Connector/p/431917

Although if using one I would have it just behind the tile level covered with a decorative chrome shroud. They are available in 90' elbow as well.

But that joins 32mm to 32mm
32mm pvc is an internal measurement
Externally, its a tiny bit larger than the 35mm (external measurement) chrome pipe
So the 32mm compression joints are too big for the 35mm chrome pipes

I was using it as an example, there are different sizes available to suit chrome to pvc. I have used them many times in the past quite successfully. You may need to bring the pipe to the suppliers to double check, but they are available.

    Thank you Flyer
That's exactly what I am looking for but have been unable to source one for these dimension pipes
    I'll keep looking
