    As for a starlet breaking down every day?

    Your merc is a great find, but you don't have to **** over everyone else's suggestions because they're not your idea of cheap motoring.

    Tis a bit rich to slate other people's posts, especially on something like the starlet colm posted which is well know for it's reliability a then try to prove your point by posting a car that isn't known for being exactly the pinnacle of quality or reliability itself.

    Anything on the Starlet is going to be cheap to fix to. With the merc you have to be willing to pay the tax and fuel and cross fingers nothing expensive is wrong with it

    mate you dont know what u r talking about.the starlet is the most reliable car ever made:)dont even try to put this merc in the same league

    I must admit I giggled a little when I saw a Merc W210 being advertised in the vintage section of DD. If timing chain stretching, multitude of electrical problems, flimsy trim and rust everywhere is considered vintage then I guess a W210 qualifies alright.
