I have my theory test booked for the morning, but I got my passport photos taken in a photo booth, they came in a laminated sheet of 5 so I had to cut them, unfortunately that didn't go to well and all 5 photos are roughly different sizes will these photographs do or do I need a new set taken, thanks

Is this to get your learner permit? When I went in to renew my drivers licence with photos, they chose to take a picture of me instead so in that case you should be fine.

They brought it in in 2012 that you need to bring to passport colour photographs

I renewed my licence nine months ago, took in the photos and they ignored them and took them themselves using their digital system in Santry

I was well pissed off I'd to pay for the passport photos which weren't used.

The requirement is that the photos be 35mm-38mm x 48mm-50mm and that your head takes up about 70% – 80% of the frame. In practice, as long as they fit properly in the space provided on your pass certificate when they laminate it, I doubt the tester will care if they're a little off; they certainly won't actually measure them.

The two photos don't need to be trimmed to precisely the same size as long as they both fall within the required dimensions, but they do need to be two copies of the exact same photo. If you just got five copies of a single shot from the photo booth printed out, that should be fine, but if you actually took five different shots of yourself and only have one copy of each, that might be an issue (though if they look very similar, it's possible the tester won't notice or care; mine didn't even want both of my photos when I did my theory test a year ago).
