Early morning lessons

This is just a piece of advice for people that are commencing or in the middle of completing their EDT lessons with a view to passing the driving test. Time your lessons very well.

About 4 weeks ago, I had my 7th EDT lesson with my instructor at 9am on a Saturday morning. As it was the weekend, I wasnt in much of a rush so I woke up at about 8am and made myself a delicious sausage and egg bagel and a coffee before running out the door for the driving lesson.

It proved to be a wasted lesson, however, as I had forgotten the effects that coffee has on my body. Rather than focusing on the road and improving my driving, I spent the last 30 minutes of the lesson focusing on keeping my cheeks clenched so that I wouldn't absolutely destroy the inside of this lad's car.

Had the worst happened, my Logbook would have finally earned its namesake as it is the only wiping material I had close by.

Let this be a warning to all others, there is more to think about when you get into an instructor's car for an hour than your driving or the road.
    Drive safe.

What type of bagel did you have the sausage and egg on?
