Anywhere in Ireland stock these? The delivery to Ireland on the Gtechniq website is crazy money!

A while since I used these products. Are there any superior or better value nano coatings available now?

    I will likely buy C1 and C2V3.

CarPro CQuartz UK would probably be Gtechniq's main competitor. I used it on my car and I find it excellent. It's on the car six months but it's as fresh as the day it was applied. It's extremely hydrophobic (when driving in a heavy shower you can see the drops bouncing off the bonnet and hitting the windscreen!). As with any coating, the prep is key but the actual application was easy (even easier if you've a garage/shed). CarPro say it will last 2 years, I keep mine topped up with Reload and I see no reason why it won't easily hit 2 years if not more.

There's a huge amount of info online on CQuartz vs Gtechniq, I think the general consensus is that CQuartz is the easier of the two to apply.

You can pick up the CQuartz kit from detailingshed.com (based in Dublin) for about 65 bucks.

Blok51 in Northern Ireland stock them and have quick cheap shipping, otherwise I usually get them from Cleanyourcar.co.uk. Absolutely love their products, a bit harder to use than most but worth the effort!

Brilliant! Thanks for the info guys. I have used C1 in the past and although the prep takes forever it was worth it!
