    Hi
    Does anyone know if you fail the Nct if you are missing the cap off the windscreen washer fluid?

    It's not specifically mentioned in the tester's manual so you could get lucky.

    Completely rediculous to fail on that...
    It's not exactly a safety item.

    That said I'd be annoyed if there wasn't one on the bottle in my car.

    My doesn't have one,I had a piece of tinfoil over where the lid should be :p
    It passed :D

    Cap from a 2 litre milk carton fits some cars. If it's a bit loose use a bit of blu-tac.
