I expect somebody not to faff up a two step recipe for apple and peanut butter, while being paid my beloved TV licence fee

Please please please lodge a complaint with Comreg.

Tell them you're allergic to pears and had a reaction.

If you haven't mastered the art of transforming apples into pears then you need to go back to basics.

Don't blame the poor intern who posted the recipe for mixing them up. Appearances can be deceiving.

I'd be more upset at their attempt at a recipe. Slice up an apple and spread ****ing peanut butter on it for christs sake?!

That's not a recipe, it's just slightly complicating eating an apple.

    Basil: “Or the grapefruit?”
Mr Hamilton: “The grapefruit? How's it done?”
Basil: “Well, it's halved, with a cherry in the centre.”
Mr Hamilton: “Look! I haven't paid you £20 to have some guy cut a grapefruit in half and stick a cherry in the centre!”
    Basil: “Exactly.”

Yeah, they're not recipes, they're serving suggestions. Some poor sap probably had to spend days typing that crap up.

Just to further annoy the OP, here's another 'recipe', for sliced pear and almonds. Look at the picture...:D

No, it clearly says to slice the pear like it was an apple.

We definitely need more than 2 steps to this recipe.

That's nuts! (I mean "They're nuts). It's not as if we're talking about apples and oranges!

A friend of mine overdosed on almonds last week. After polishing off a bag of them, he didn't feel too well, and then he couldn't see properly. He went to bed and conked out for 7 hours. Turns out eating that many almonds caused him to overdose on vitamin E. (There's no punchline to this. It just happened.)
