    Hey Folks,

Just want to see if there is any appetite for the above?

I think anything that can help AGS and the RSA to slow people down and drive within the rules and more carefully should be supported.

So currently there is a checkpoint on the M8 near junction 6.

Not a fan of publishing their locations. The same racket is on Twitter. It'll just allow people to avoid them.

One thing that gets me about these location threads on Facebook and Twitter, is that unless it's a passenger updating them, because it would be totally against the rules of the road for the driver to do it, said locations could more then likely moved on by time driver leaves the house and gets as far as location, again, unless he/she is checking facebook/twitter whilst driving, again, against the ROTR.

Not sure of the ROTR thing is for this thread or not though.

I'd be all in favour of lots of fake alerts of checkpoints all around the country so that if you were driving with no insurance, nct or nct you would have a right pain in the hole deciding where to drive.
