Just Bought Electronic Drum Kit

Hi Folks. I'm just after buying an electronic kit. Sh1tty ould Millenium one off Thomann to get me back playing and improve the overall fitness aswell. That's the idea anyway 😛 Anywho, just wondering, what's the playability like on electronic kits. It's a mesh kit, not these pads with cheese triangles for cymbals. Whatever about the drum heads themselves, I'm just worried that the playability and feel of the cymbals will be very different and that might put me off it. I'd like for it to be as close to playing on an acoustic kit as possible. Any feedback you have is appreciated.
