Sort out gas central heating

    My gas central heating is acting up, and at times will not work.
    The Veissmann boiler was put in in 2009, and has been serviced from time to time. I am in a quandary.


    Is the boiler in need of a service or replacement?
    Is the electric control (Danfoss) the problem?
    Should I use Bord Gais or someone else?
    How do I get a good installer? RGII list makes no recommendations.

    Should I just get an plumber and trust him?
