    Hi

When i was young a lost the vision in my left eye and my right eye has picked up the slack. I have very good vision and do not require glasses to read.
I have recently done my theory test and passed it but was wondering am i allowed or will i pass the eye sight test to move forward to obtain my learner drivers licence if i only have vision in one eye ?

If the answer is yes can i do this eye test in specsavers ?

Will the rsa accept it ?

I don't remember doing much. I done it about 14 years ago and just went to a opticians and said I needed a eye test for a licence. I have perfect eye sight and the test they done was no different than any other time I got tested at a doctors. Afair I just had to read the letters from the chart but they test both eyes so I do not know what happens when you are blind in one eye.

There is a driver fitness question along the lines of 'Total loss of sight in one eye?' which would require a medical report from a doctor which would also incorporate an eyesight report so no separate eyesight report would be required.
