66 Dublin Bus Kilcock

Hi, I am aware that Kilcock was previously served by the 66. I was wondering with the amount of new housing being laid down in Kilcock, the surge in population, the promise of a park and ride facility, and with IrishRail bringing Kilcock into Dublin's short hop zone as of June 2017, does anyone think there's much hope in Dublin Bus re-establishing its 66 route to Kilcock in conjunction with Bus Eireann's service?

Not a chance. More 115s are the best hope

Maybe if the 66 had been the selected route to use the Chapelizod bypass, but Dublin bus chose the much shorter 25a and b routes instead. The 66 as it stands would be torturous.

Downside to the BE routes is there is very little local connectivity, bypassing major local employers like Intel.
