    Starting 11 in my formation guess - though Woodie will probably be wide.

    No Ojo at or TAA which is a surprise (must mean Clyne really in a struggle for Chelsea game)

    Karius;
    Randall, Gomez, Klavan, Moreno;
    Lucas;
    Ejaria--Wijnaldum
    Woodburn,
    Firmino--Origi

    Mignolet, Milner, Stewart, Can, Coutinho, Wilson, Sturridge

    Wolves playing second choice keeper who will have a worldie of course - old boy Coady starting.

    Burgoyne; Coady, Stearman, Hause, Doherty, Edwards, Evans, Saville, Costa, Weimann, Dicko.

    I think we'll put out a stronger team than that, i'd expect 2/3 changes from our best 11.

    Wakey wakey! :pac:

    This game was last played in 1958 when the all time Anfield record was set at 61,905 paying customers. Pretty amazing they haven't met since in the Cup.

    I feel sorry for Wolves, I think they're going to get a bit of a hiding.

    For all the mockery that may go on from rival fans Liverpool have been one of the best teams in England this season. They've taken a lot of stick recently and they'll be pretty fired up for this.

    Really don't like this team. They have very little experience of playing together, players in coming back from injury and others such as Moreno who are out of sorts.

    I would have expected Klopp to have played a stronger team to ensure a handsome win and to get the winning feeling back in team before important Chelsea match.

    Would not be shocked to see a draw or even a Wolves win today as they will be up for it.

    Terrible goal to concede but Pool will still win comfortably.
    Too much quality there for Wolves to hang on for near 90 minutes.

    Klopps efforts on working at defending set pieces in training really seen to good effect again.

    Must be a first for the away team to get both tiers of Anfield road end it is usually just the lower one

    To work on defending means someone is working on attacking. No evidence of that either.
    Maybe that's the problem, poor quality up front makes the defence think they're awesome during training only to be found out by superior attackers at wolves, Sunderland, Swansea, Palace, Burnley and Shane long

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 14,846 ✭✭✭✭Liam McPoyle

    What a run, deserved a goal.

    That Wolves chance perfectly sums up the current state of the side. Nearly concede direct from your own corner. Get it together Liverpool FFS

    Perhaps we should just forego any future corners, they all end in an attack for the opposition

    You'd expect 'some' improvement, somewhere from a decent coaching team. But nothing.

    Have to laugh at witless punditry - "Firmino not had his best this season"

    Origi is barely Celtic standard tbh.

    It's always the same in the FA Cup. The away team generally get 15% which is about 3-4 times more than league games.

    Harry starting this thread explains the early goal.

    Pathetic stuff again by Liverpool. Should be 2 down. I hate'punting' competitions.

    Agreed - unless of course our defence have peaked and already achieved their maximum potential? In which case, they need replacing.

    Just asked the nurse for more morphine, she said I wasn't due any til later in the afternoon.

    I then explained that I'm a Liverpool fan and she handed it over straight over

    Conor Randall wouldn't get into a lower championship team. No idea why he is still at the club
