    Hi ,
I am looking to buy a small piece of wood for a corner worktop for a kitchen but would like to get natural wood e.g oak beech etc with the natural looking edge. Prob about 7 foot in all. Would anyone have any idea where I could buy this. ? I dont mind sanding and oiling myself. Preferably in Dublin or the surrounding area
    Many thanks in advance

Ikea do a wood veneer version too, but the solid wood one linked isn't that dear, relatively speaking. It's what I used.

Hi Thanks for all the replies, but what i'm actually looking for is wood with waney edge think thats what you call it. Its still has rough edge like bark if that makes sense.

If it's just a single wide plank you need and your able to plane sand and finish it yourself , kiln dried hardwoods in Delgany should have what you want, take a look at there site for info , a single plank that width will not be very stable though
