    Beyond salary surveys, which I think are pretty dodgy, does anyone have first or second hand experience about what equity partners make in a top 40firms in Ireland? Obviously it varies wildey but as nothing is truly public any information would be good.

    Why do you want to know.

    Very few equity partners in top firms. Most are salaried.

    And top 40 ? Theres only maybe top ten are comparable.

    You could be an equity partner in a mid tier firm taking home five the salary of a salaried partner in a top firm.

    Theres no average. Its not suits

    The salaried partner cap would be 190k thereabouts? Anyone know whether it is more?
