    Hi,

i just moved into new apt and there's a HKC SecureWatch Alarm. Landlord gave me code which which is putting alarm on and off. She said it will beep when someone opens the doors or windows.

But there is also a movement sensor. How can I disarmed it?

Basically, I would like to put my alarm on while I am at work, but I also have a dog who's home alone and freely roaming around.

So , I only want my alarm to be set for activation when someone opens doors or windows, but not for internal movements.

    Help please :)

My landlord has no idea how to do it.

I have a sticker with codes on the alarm. There is one option called Home alone. Would that be it?

    Thank you!

You will have to take the cover off the beam.
    Turn off the beeping keypad.
Note it will say "Tamper Zone X" on the display.

    Note the zone number.

    Replace the cover.

Then when you set the system enter the code * (zone number) Yes.

    Hi Kub,

ok , so, on this sticker I have is written:

"To omit zones or points from system when arming press 0 Code * Zone or Point No. Yes"

Is that what you are saying?

    Thanks!

Once you have established the actual zone number of that beam.

I must have confused you, sorry. When you took the cover off, the system should have activated. Did it?
