    Hi!

I have a piece of plastic missing from my side mirror indicator lamp. The indicator works perfectly fine. Can this be fixed without replacing the whole indicator lamp?

    Thanks!

    Depends, what car is it?

Sorry, forgot to specify that. Mitsubishi Outlander 2011. NCT failed us on it this time (not last time). I was thinking of contacting some of the the windscreen repair crowds to see if they can fix it.

Is it an actual indicator? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fog-tail-light-Mitsubishi-OUTLANDER-II-2-A048333-58TKm-/371256841257

I googled the part number A048333 and all lamps I see are with the whole thing
Start by checking with a dealer, these things are usually not very expensive.

If it is not an indicator and not really used then you can just use tape to cover jagged edges, this should pass NCT.

The sharp edges of the glass probably a fail reason too on its own. Have you looked on ebay or Partfinder.ie ?

Thanks to all of you, I appreciate the replies! I got a lens repair kit in a shop in Sandyfort. Should have fixed the thing yesterday when it was dry...
