Roundwood Reservoir 10km Run in aid of Lakers. Saturday 22nd April 2017 @ 10.30am. This run is simply amazing; you will be in the highest village in Ireland, yet running possibly the flattest 10K trail (except for one little section of steps). You will not believe the views and tranquillity of this course. This event is ideal for runners of all levels and an excellent opportunity to try trail running for the first time. • The route is around the reservoir and is mostly trail with some uneven terrain, there is only approx. 1km on the road (3km-4km). The course is flat apart from 1 set of steps and a slight incline after steps. No special shoes required – runners are fine for this route, wear ones you don’t mind getting dirty as it’s a little mucky in places at the moment thanks to the Irish weather!

    Don't think they do medals but there's a T-shirt.

Also a BBQ after with burgers and all the tea and cake you could eat.
