I see Wilsons are holding a seized vehicles auction this Thursday in Mallusk, there's 18 vehicles which all are ROI vehicles. The oldest is 2013, newest is 2015, wonder would these be seized by banks or what would be the story behind them, odd they are selling them up there at auction.

Some nice cars for a starter driver wouldn't mind chancing a bid or two

They must have decided to only impound silver and grey cars :D

Has to be banks. Looking at whats on offer its hardly CAB, very entry level stuff. So you might want to keep in mind these were seized from people in financial difficulties. Servicing was probably not a priority. But then at that age and under finance/pcp they may have had servicing contracts. Hard to say.

Very like ex rental fodder that were maybe not good enough for most dealers to retail on their forecourts.

Yep. If the likes of right price cars won't take them they're gonna be sh1tters. Possibly damage repaired or something.

Why would an ex rental be seized by a government agency? Not impossible but would seem unlikely no?

Marketing nonsense on the part of the auction house I'd say. People love a bargain.
