Missing Person in Carlow/Kilkenny

    A friends brother has gone missing for the second time in 12 months. The family are beside themselves with worry. Any info would be gratefully appreciated.


    Gardai want your help in tracing a man missing from Carlow since the weekend.

    50 year old Edward Canavan left his home at Coolnasneachta in Myshall on foot last Saturday morning at around 9am.

    He is described as being 5’6″ in height, of medium build, balding and has blue eyes. When last seen Edward was wearing a dark grey coloured cardigan and black shoes.He also wears glasses.

    Its thought he may have travelled to Kilkenny City on Saturday

    Gardaí and Edward’s family are concerned for his welfare and anyone with information is asked to contact them at Carlow Garda Station on 059 9136620, The Garda Confidential Line, 1800 666111 or any Garda Station.

    Edward was found safe a well a short time ago :)
