Just after peoples opinions (not advice) on the wording of a will. My assumption is that how a Will is worded is quite deliberate , and should not be open to ambiguity

My grandfather left a Will worded as follows:

I give, devise and bequeath everything of which I may die possessed including my house and land to my son to hold in trust for my daughter to use, as he at his absolute discretion shall think fit for her benefit and the benefit of her three children and I appoint them my residuary legatees and devisees

discretionary trust or life estate ?
