Considering buying property in Edenderry or Rathangan, any one provide any information on the challenging areas in those towns for buying property?

Edenderry has a couple of decent areas. Really, the further you go west in the town the better. However, It is a 'challenging' place to live if you are not a local. If it as an investment property you are looking for then I would advise strongly against it.

If you're thinking of investment Rathangan is being considered for, or has become, a 4% rent pressure zone.

I would be living there. Currently renting near Mullingar, work in Dublin. Saw a house in Churchview Heights for sale, was wondering what the estate was like?

There is a church something in Edenderry that is rough. The commute to Dublin would be horrendous.

Checked this out for you. Avoid Churchview Heights at all costs. There is a reason why these properties are 30% cheaper than other areas of the town.

Sorry to be negative but Edenderry really is not a nice place to live generally.
