    If price and quality are the main requirements where in Ireland is best? Or which towns/villages on bus/train/expressway are best?

    That's an exceptionally vague question. Not sure this forum is the best place for it. Infrastructure and commuting are generally not covered in the abstract on this forum and regional knowledge is best found in the regional fora

    Where are the cheaper places in rural Ireland to rent, not necessarily the cheapest - which are reasonably well serviced with transport?
